These were taken at a recent visit to Great Lake Pizza on Balmoral in Chicago. I had heard about it and had been desperately wanting to try it but never found the occasion/time to do so.

I swear, I sat there slowly chewing each bite of the chewiest, crispiest, tastiest crust & pizza I’ve had in a really, really long time. I haven’t been to Tacconelli’s in Philly in a while but this beats SlicePA by a mile. I no longer want to eat any other pizza. The combination of salt on the crust added what has been missing to every other pizza. I noticed it and seriously thought everyone else in the world is doing it wrong.
